2.0 awards

Very useful! Yesterday a friend and I used yelp.com to find a restaurant close by. I had not seen the nominees list yet, but know why yelp is there; it's easy to navigate, and very accurate. I browsed through peertrainer, and also a site about cocktails. I love craigslist already, so I'm glad it made the winners circle. Overall, it is a very good list to know about and to just browse through. You never know when you'll be needing the information.

Zoho

Zoho is so Cool! I can't believe I never knew about this. Can you imagine how useful this could be as a resource to those that don't have fancy usb drives, or even Word at home? This is truly revolutionary!

Wiki

Wiki was very easy to comprehend, however I did find it a bit difficult to maneauver. For example when adding myself to the PLCMC Learning 2.0 wiki I had to edit a few times before I could figure out how to make it so that others could view my blogspot. I was relieved when I figured it out though, kinda' like one of those word problems that have you going around in circles, and then when you figure out how it worked, you realize how complicated you made it, because it was easy to begin with. Sometimes we can complicate things that are so easy. Anyways, that's all for now. Have a beautiful day, moring, evening, afternoon, night, sieta, sleep :)

Library 2.0 and the Futuro!

I found the perspectives on Library 2.0 helpful, in the sense that they articulated the purpose for Library 2.0. They answered questions such as: why we need library 2.0: what it means for librarians, and anyone working in the realm of libraries: what benefit it has for our patrons, and other who might be interested. I found the perspective on Librarian 2.0 the most interesting, the other two articles I read seemed a bit foreign. What do I think about Library 2.0. Well, for learning's sake, it was good. Will I use it? I hope so.

Rollyo!

Interesting! unfortunately I don't know that many websites. I'll have to do some more looking around Rollyo, to add to my own "search engine" ;)

LibraryThing Thoughts

"LibraryThing" was not too difficult to figure out. I like knowing that you can tag someone and read the list of books they've also read based on a book you've read (if that makes sense). I hope to continue using "LibraryThing" for every book that I read, and who knows, I might pick up some interesting titles to potential books that I will be reading in the future.

Image Generator Thoughts

This is a really fun tool to learn just to add some pazzazz on your page. I especially liked doing my magazine cover, one can get very creative. I didn't find this task too difficult, however, if I wanted to make it even more creative, it probably would have gotten more complicated.
